Sunbeam

I don't have any more pictures of it because my phone broke, but this is Sunbeam.

It started as a joke with Mr. Sands. The Art of Apex show was coming up and I was asking about the submission rules. He said as long as it could fit through the doors of the venue it would be put in the show. I went immediately to Craigslist to find a washing machine to put some flowers in or something, just to say I did it. I wanted my name on something ridiculous. Unfortunately, that didn't fly with my parents (thanks mom) but I found this old toaster on the side of the American Tobbaco Trail that weekend when I went with some friends. I crammed some daisies in there, made some tiles for a base, and called it a day.

If you want to purchase this monstrosity, it will be at The Halle Cultural Arts Center in Downtown Apex until the end of June. It is $21.42.

Matt Smith...

Looks better with eyebrows geckos

Sure, I could have turned a tongue into a frog, but I think Matt Smith needed some friends.

Sands Again

Sort of. Not really.

I enjoyed Art II so much that I really wanted to get into another art class for second semester. Unfortunately my second period block was taken and Mr. Sands' third period computer art and animation was full. With a photoshop-enabled laptop and a free period I let myself into his classroom.

I'm not in the class, but I'm also not not in it. This will be fun.
